Paper is a big consideration here, as clients have literally hundreds of choices for color, weight and texture. Many stationery papers have cotton content which adds a very nice feel to the stock; 25% cotton content is normal, although 100$ cotton stock is available.

Some of the more common textures are linen, laid, cockle and smooth.

Thermo graphic printing, which utilizes textured ink, is a very common and cost effective. Caution must be exercised with compatibility to laser printers as the thermo ink is wax based .
