What
most clients do not realize, right out of the gate, is that
if they are purchasing Binders for ANY reason more than 50 at
a time, they can most likely have it decorated at a very minimum
up charge.
There are many ways to decorate a binder, either with a loose
or a sealed insert in the front, spine and/or back. It can
be silk screened, debossed or foiled.
Binders
are measured by the ring size. These typically start at
1/2” and increase size in ½” increments.
The rings can be mounted onto the spine which is most common
or the back, which I prefer.
Common
additions include padding the cover, any or all sections,
metal corners, page lifters, D rings, inside pockets, business
card insert areas, clear filing pocket indicators and specialization
of construction.
Most
binders are made of vinyl, which is available in a variety
of quality and cost. Approximately five different pricing
levels of quality, so clients will want to see samples of
the vinyl every time.
